in 2004. The farm is between Knob Noster Missouri and Windsor Missouri on SE 23 Hiway. This 69 acre spread was formerly part of a larger farm that grew corn, wheat and soybeans. Conventional farming practices were employed and as a result the soils and minerals were depleted and the ground was allowed to lie fallow for 20 years. It was over planted with
sudan grass. Since the time that I have been the environmental manager, we have used organic-sustainable practices to renew the vigor and vitality of the soil. Currently we do not raise or grow any animals or offer any animal products. Fruit trees have been planted as well as elderberries, asparagus, garlic, grapes, rhubarb. We also have a number of bees for pollination.
